Ruger Admits He Regrets Body-Shaming BNXN In Their Earlier Online Dispute

Popular Nigerian singer Ruger, real name Michael Adebayo Olayinka, has acknowledged that he feels sorry for body-shaming his fellow colleague and friend, BNXN, after a contentious social media feud that happened two years ago.

The two musicians’ online feud grew more intense as they discussed their different discographies leading to a confrontation where the conversation got insulting. Words were exchanged, songs were mocked, and Ruger and BNXN even engaged in body shaming.

Ruger famously called BNXN a “fatty bum bum” at the height of the argument, escalating the already heated online fight. On Friday, March 15, 2024, Ruger did, however, make an appearance as a guest on the most current episode of the Bahd And Boujee Podcast, which is co-hosted by actress Moet Abebe and reality personality Tolanibaj.

Ruger admitted his wrongdoing and showed sincere regret for his previous actions during a reflective time. “I feel bad that I body-shamed BNXN,” he said, expressing a genuine desire to atone for his earlier deeds.

Before this new revelation, Ruger has finally ended his dispute with BNXN after leaving D’Prince’s Jonzing World and starting his own record label, Blown Boy Entertainment. Their reconciliation and rekindled professional relationship are demonstrated by their recent collaboration on the single, “Romeo Must Die.”
