SchoolBoy Q Says He’ll Keep Rapping Till He’s 80; Says Age Is Nothing But A Number

ScHoolboy Q, the Los Angeles native, may have just turned 37 in October, but he has no plans of slowing down anytime soon. Recently, a fan tweeted that he was “late in his career,” but ScHoolboy Q responded quickly and assertively. He revealed that he plans to keep rapping until he’s 80 years old and is going out like B.B. King.

The highly anticipated 17-track album, “Blue Lips,” will be released on March 1st. Expectations are high for the album, especially since the rapper has said it’s his best project yet. The album features a guest verse from Freddie Gibbs, and ScHoolboy Q admitted that Gibbs “washed” him. While no other features have been announced, fans eagerly await to see who else might be featured on the album.

This album will serve as a follow-up to Q’s 2019 album, “CrasH Talk,” which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200. It earned 81,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, including collaborations with Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Kid Cudi, YG, and Ty Dolla. TDE, the record label, is also gearing up for a busy year with a deluxe edition of SZA’s blockbuster “SOS” and a compilation album celebrating the label’s 20th anniversary. ScHoolboy Q’s fans can’t wait to hear what he has in store for them with “Blue Lips.”
