Skepta Previews A New Song Featuring Portable

Skepta and Portable have collaborated on a new song, unbelievably.

Of course it’s no news that Grime became more commercialized many thanks to Skepta’s sound. That’s a rapper who is considered one of the best rappers in the UK, arguably the best.

According to recent events, the Nigerian-British rapper has hinted at an impending single called “Tony Montana,” which features Nigerian street music sensation Portable.

Both entertainers made an appearance on a new unreleased tune with Afrobeats-style production in the teaser that has since gone viral on social media. Skepta, catching the vibe from Portable, also incorporated some nicely done Yoruba lingo into his flows.

Prior to the announcement of their new collaboration, the Nigerian street-hop artist visited London in 2023 and was invited to the British Fashion Awards by Skepta, who also hosted him.

Fans are now super eager to hear how the veteran rapper and the controversial street-hop sensation would sound in the full track. The forthcoming track would mark the third single of the year from Skepta, who just dropped “Gas Me Up (Diligent),” accompanied by an equally great music video.

The release of new single joins in his “Knife and Fork” album rollout alongside the forthcoming premiere of his first film, “Tribal Mark,” which he appears to be marketing even more than the highly anticipated record.
