Slash Reveals Guns N’ Roses Plans For New Music

Slash has disclosed that there is more new music to come from Guns N’ Roses, and they are underway, together with some other fresh tracks possibly arriving before they kick off their next lineup of shows.

Last year, the band dropped two new singles: ‘Absurd’ and ‘Hard Skool’, both tracks coming off sessions for their famed ‘Chinese Democracy’ album.

The guitarist explained that those tracks weren’t particularly the only pieces of new material the band had been cooking up to release. “There is new material coming — everybody’s always asking,” Slash revealed to Consequence of Sound. “I would imagine that there will be one or two songs that come out around the time that we hit the road in June.”

Discussing playing and touring with GN’R and frontman Axl Rose, he added:

“It’s been great. We got back together and it was really sort of like one of those huge question marks, and it was only to do the Coachella festivals, really. And it just snowballed into this tour that’s really been sort of going ever since then. But we’ve had a blast doing it, and I’m really happy that finally after all those years of negativity and whatnot, that we got past all that, and managed to get together and go out and play.”
