The legendary guitarist of Guns N’ Roses, Slash, has announced that he will be releasing a solo blues album titled ‘Orgy of the Damned’ on May 17th via Gibson Records. The lead single from the album, a cover of Howlin’ Wolf’s ‘Killing Floor’, featuring AC/DC vocalist Brian Johnson and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler on harmonica, has already been released.

The album will feature a star-studded lineup of guest artists, including Iggy Pop, Chris Stapleton, Demi Lovato, Dorothy, Paul Rodgers, Chris Robinson, Tash Neal, Beth Hart, Gary Clark Jr., and Billy Gibbons. Slash will also cover several blues standards, such as Robert Johnson’s ‘Crossroad Blues’, Albert King’s ‘Born Under a Bad Sign’, Willie Dixon’s ‘Hoochie Coochie Man’, and more. Currently, Slash is on a world tour with Myles Kennedy & the Co-Conspirators, and he’s set to play in Dublin at the end of this month. He will also visit several other UK and EU dates.
