1970 saw the release of the Jackson 5 Christmas Album, capping an incredible year for the siblings as they scored four Hot 100 No. 1 hits, including “I Want You Back,” “ABC,” “The Love You Save,” and “I’ll Be There.” Additionally, they made history as the first act to have four of their Hot 100 hits debut at number one. With 17.9 million official U.S. streams as of December 28, the group’s version of “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” is the album’s biggest hit and up 21% from the week before. Thanks to this, it is now tied for 27th place on the all-genre streaming songs chart, its most outstanding ranking to date. Furthermore, the streaming figures have enabled “Santa Claus” to reach a new high of 30th position on the newest Billboard Hot 100 chart.

“I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus,” propelled by its 14.1 million official U.S. streams in the tracking week, debuts at No. 43 on the chart. The siblings have teamed up with The Jackson 5 Christmas Album for a 15th spot on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart (comprising work released as either The Jackson 5 or The Jacksons). This marks their first visit to the tier since Victory posted its final frame in the region on the September 22, 1984 chart. Meanwhile, “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” has been a part of the Hot 100 every year since the 2020 holiday season.
