Tems Responds To A Publicly Made Snoop Dogg Feature Request

Temilade Openiyi, better known by her stage name Tems, is an award-winning singer and composer from Nigeria. She has responded to Snopp Dogg’s open request to cooperate on songs. After veteran American rapper Snopp Dogg openly approached her for a feature, the new-age global star, who has continued to witness a stratospheric rise to the top of the international music scene since her duet with Afrobeats singer Wizkid, “Essence,” became a global hit, has continued to do so.

The “Free Mind” singer was persuaded to run a feature with Snoop Dogg in a recent viral video. He claimed that his family had been listening to her songs. Snoop Dogg is one of the world’s most well-known African American musicians. He first gained notoriety in 1992 when he appeared on Dr. Dre’s first solo single, “Deep Cover,” and then on his first solo album, The Chronic. Since then, the rapper has sold over 23 million albums domestically and 35 million records globally.

Although Tems has not yet directly responded, she took to Twitter shortly after the Snoop Dogg video went viral to express her gratitude for how far her career has come. She said in her tweet that a GOAT recognizes and attracts fellow GOATs, which is how one can tell they are the GOAT. Loads of bleating there.
