Meek Mill Set To Follow Snoop Dogg In Making Decision To Quit Smoking

Still trying to come to terms with Snoop’s latest announcement, fans were shocked to hear Meek Mill reveal that he would be following Snoop Dogg’s recent and unexpected declaration that he would finally give up marijuana use. Meek used Twitter to follow Snoop’s lead after the rapper said on Thursday, November 16, that he was permanently giving up “smoke.”

“Ima go to Dubai and completely stop smoking,”. “ima follow snoop, my doctor said I got a lil bit emphysema in a chest if I don’t stop smoking it cuts my lifeline in half, I was addicted to the nicotine and this new weed got too many chemicals and too risky to play with my mental!”

Snoop, a renowned West Coast rapper and weed enthusiast, caused a stir on social media when he requested privacy from the public as he prepared to embark on a new chapter of his life without smoking. He said as follows:

“After much consideration & conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time,”

Snoop Dogg has always been a smoker; he hardly ever appears in public without a blunt and another on deck. Throughout his career, he has redefined the green room by smoking at events like the Super Bowl and the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards, among other places. Snoop’s decision to give up smoking sent shockwaves through his fan base, and many had much to say about it. While some people didn’t think the former Death Row rapper was genuinely leaving, others suggested that the decision might have been made due to health concerns. Snoop Dogg did, however, state earlier this year that he was cutting back on his smoking because he was taking health precautions after becoming a grandfather.
