Tyla Celebrates The Release Of Her Debut Album With A Pop-Up Show In London

Grammy Award-winner Tyla celebrated the release of her debut album with a pop-up show in London!

The event took place on March 27, 2024, in London’s Shoreditch. The singer has been ecstatic about her debut album, which made its way into the US Apple music album charts, peaking at number five. Altogether, there are fourteen tracks on the album, including fire collaborations with Tems, who she refers to as “the queen,” Becky G, and American rappers Travis Scott, and Gunna.

The South African singer announced the occasion on her social media pages.

At the event, there was a meet-and-greet, merch sales, and signing sessions.

Tyla was quite excited when she got to the event. In more recent news, the singer has officially surpassed Rema to take the top spot as the most streamed African musician on Spotify, adding another feather to her cap.

The upsurge follows the March 22, 2024, release of her self-titled album. She has a devoted following thanks in large part to the album, which has received over 7 million plays. Her outstanding monthly Spotify listener count currently stands at 30 million, surpassing Rema’s 29.7 million.

But, sadly, she would be postponing her debut headlining tour of North America and Europe and pulling out of a few festivals, including Coachella, because of “an injury that’s tragically worsened.” Hopefully, she recovers soon enough to bring her magic to various global stages and eager audiences.
