“Vultures 1” By Kanye West And Ty Dolla $ign Ranks #1 For A Second Week On The Billboard 200 Album Chart

The joint album, “Vultures 1,” by Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) and Ty Dolla $ign, maintains its spot at number one on the Billboard 200 albums list (dated March 2) for a second week. It sold 75,000 equivalent album units in the United States during that time, a 50% decrease, according to Luminate.

Since “Watch the Throne,” Ye’s album from 2011, which included two weeks at the top, Vultures 1 is the first to hold the position for numerous weeks. Of Ye’s 11 No. 1 hits overall, three have been there for several weeks: Watch the Throne, Vultures 1, and “Late Registration” from 2005, all of which topped the list for two weeks.

Of the 75,000 units that Vultures 1 achieved in the tracking week that concluded on February 22, SEA units made up 72,000 (a decrease of 44%, or 95.25 million official on-demand streaming of the set’s songs), the album sales made up 2,000 (a decrease of 89%), and TEA units made up 1,000 (a decrease of 25%).

The bestseller albums of the week in the United States are listed on the Billboard 200 chart, which is compiled by Luminate and based on multi-metric consumption expressed in equivalent album units. Track equivalent albums (TEA), album sales, and streaming equivalent albums (SEA) are all included in units.

One album sale, ten single album tracks sold, 3,750 ad-supported, or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams produced by album tracks are all equivalent to one unit.
