Wiz Khalifa Readies To Drop New Mixtape As He Drops New Single

With his third mixtape of 2023 approaching, Wiz Khalifa has released a new song titled “Up the Ladder.” The Big Jerm and LNK-produced song was released on Thanksgiving (November 23), one week before Decisions. The project, which releases on December 1, comes after See Ya and Khali Sober, which were published in June and October, respectively. Even after more than ten years of consistently releasing songs and going on tour, Wiz Khalifa is still criticized by some for having “fallen off.” He can, however, support the claim that he hasn’t with the receipts.

When co-host T-Rell questioned the CEO of Taylor Gang about the naysayers who claim he isn’t hot anymore, Wiz explained why it isn’t a true statement. The Taylor Gang CEO made an appearance on the Back On Figg podcast last month. Wiz is one of the few performers who hasn’t been impacted by the recent decline in ticket sales and has kept up his annual schedule of domestic and foreign tours. He embarked on a fantastic 33-city High School Reunion Tour this past summer alongside Snoop Dogg, Too $hort, Warren G, Berner, and special guest DJ Drama. Looking ahead to 2024, the “Roll Up” rapper will introduce Hip Hop to the country music scene at the Stagecoach Country Music Festival.

The three-day “Late Night in Palomino” festival, which runs from April 26–28, 2024, in Indio, California (home of Coachella), will include Wiz as the headline act on Sunday night. Sources close to the Pittsburgh native told media that, despite not quite fitting the country genre, “there was no hesitation” in accepting the role and that he is thrilled to be bringing his “amazing show full of hits” and stage charisma to the show. Post Malone and Jelly Roll are scheduled to perform as well.
