The multi-award-winning musician Wizkid was recently sighted in Lagos with well-known film director Kunle Afolayan, following his announcement that he would take a hiatus from music, and fans are in a frenzy. On Monday, November 20, 2023, Wizkid also announced on social media that he wanted to pursue acting, and many thought it was just “cruise.” The musician made a hint that he would want to work on big-screen romantic and action films and has now been seen with legendary Nollywood producer Kunle Afolayan. Big Wiz appears to be enjoying his time off, and his followers are glad to see him do so as well because they believe that anything Wiz releases in the future will be legendary once more.
Wizkid had been at a private function at Allen Avenue, Lagos’s Afefeyeye Restaurant and Lounge, owned by Kunle Afolayan. Many were surprised by this improbable connection and speculated that Wizkid might want to collaborate on a documentary or make an appearance in a film. As they entered the venue to take advantage of the great entertainment in the form of music, food, and drinks, the actor and film director greeted the Grammy Award-winning singer warmly. The two were also seen deep in conversation. This also added to the speculations about what might be anticipated from him in the upcoming months.
