Wizkid Visits The Awujale Of Ijebu Land And His Alma Mater In Ijebu
Awujale of Ijebu land Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona recently met with Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Wizkid. Wizkid first paid a courtesy visit to the home of Fuji veteran King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal KWAM 1, who warmly welcomed him into his home. Wiz had visited specially to thank K1 for showing up for his family at his late mother’s burial service and giving a lovely performance.
However, in a recent video, Wizkid and KWAM 1 were seen at the Awujale’s palace, receiving prayers from the Yoruba king after K1 had introduced Wiz to the Yoruba royalty. Wiz can be seen kneeling and holding out his open hands.
Wizkid also made an appearance at his secondary school as seen in a different video, in which he was spotted roaming around the school compound with a few young lads.
Wizkid FC also thronged to the comment section to drop their opinions. While one group applauded Wizkid for his humility, others, well, simply hailed him. This follows a recent courtesy visit Wiz paid his mentor, billionaire businessman Tony Elumelu. In a footage of the visit, Starboy was seen taking a bow to greet Elumelu.
Before saying hello to Tony’s children, he presented a bouquet of flowers to his wife who followed closely behind her husband.
