Wizkid Visits K1 De Ultimate In Ijebu Ode To Appreciate Him For Performing At His Mom’s Burial
Just a few weeks after Wizkid’s mother’s funeral, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, a legendary Nigerian Fuji artist, garnered social media attention after he invited Wizkid to his Ijebu Ode home. Weeks ago, a number of well-known Nigerian and foreign figures showed up for Wizkid’s late mother Jane Dolapo Balogun’s funeral.
Jane Dolapo Balogun passed away in London on August 18, 2023. The iconic Fuji artist was one of the invited guests at the ceremony, and he paid his last respects by belting out beautiful songs to mark the occasion. Fast-forward to several weeks later, and a grateful Wizkid is hanging with the Fuji legend.
The self-acclaimed Biggest Bird was pictured paying K1 De Ultimate an appreciation visit for his thrilling performance at his late mother’s memorial service.
Wizkid FC and the supporters of the Fuji musician also shared their opinions in the comment section while reacting to the surprising visit. In addition, Wiz, recognizing the visit and the Fuji legend, shared some footage from the visit on his Instagram story. And we all know Wiz doesn’t just post anyhow, so K1 and his kind gesture must really mean a lot, especially given the Fuji musician’s towering reputation.
