Young Jonn Comes Through With His Debut Album, “Jiggy Forever”
As promised, Chocolate City signee and Afrobeats star, Young Jonn, has finally released his debut album, “Jiggy Forever.”
Over the past ten years, Young Jonn has consistently provided musical delight to the Nigerian music scene. In the recent years, as he has made the shift from record producer to full-time singer-songwriter, his light has become even more radiant. His abilities as a singer and songwriter have continuously amazed, from the catchy beat of “Dada” to the endearing melodies of “Aquafina.”
Now, after dazing his fans with his many artistic abilities for years, Young Jonn has finally released his debut album, appropriately named Jiggy Forever. The term “Jiggy,” which is ingrained in his music, appears to have served as the inspiration for the album’s title. A sixteen-track study into Young Jonn’s musical universe, Jiggy Forever is a sound feast.
A lively blend of previously released singles including Go Hard, Sharpally, and the enthralling Aquafina, as well as Big Big Things with Seyi Vibez and Kizz Daniel, are included. That’s not where Jiggy Forever ends, though. Young Jonn has invited an all-star lineup of guests to further enhance the experience. Zlatan, a streetwise rapper, adds his trademark swagger, and the famous Don Jazzy assists with production magic.
Along with the suave stylings of Blaqbonez, the indisputable vocals of Kizz Daniel and Seyi Vibez make a comeback. Young Jonn has invited dancehall veteran Sean Paul and Congolese diva Ya Levis to the celebration for a little bit of international flare.
