Young Thug Debuts New Clothing Brand Whilst Behind Bars As YSL RICO Trial Restarts

Despite being incarcerated, Young Thug continues to promote a new clothing line. Just one day before he was supposed to return to court to continue the YSL RICO trial, on Monday, January 1, Thugger promoted the brand “Act Normal” on his Instagram Story. Although it’s unknown if Thug owns or invests in the company, Isaiah GQ, an entrepreneur, and Thugger are the two individuals who have been publicly linked to it thus far. While Instagram only displays its logo, the website is still under renovation and promises the collection will be available shortly. He (his handler) wrote with a link to the company’s website.

After one of Young Thug’s co-defendants was stabbed while incarcerated, the YSL RICO trial was postponed last month. The trial has been delayed until January 2, 2024, as the defendant, Shannon Stillwell, heals from the attack, court reporter Meghann Cuniff said on December 12. According to jail officials, Stillwell had previously been stabbed in July 2022. He was detained in May 2022, together with Young Thug and 27 other individuals. He is accused of murder, aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, and possessing a firearm while committing a felony. The trial is anticipated to go on for more than a year.
