Oge Okoye, a Nigerian actress from Nnewi in Anambra State, was born on November 16, 1980. Oge Okoye was born in London and then relocated with her family to reside in Lagos. Her initial education was finished in London before she relocated to Nigeria. She attended the University Primary School in Enugu after returning to Nigeria before continuing to Holy Rosary College in Enugu for her secondary education.

Oge Okoye earned a theatre arts degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka. Okoye began working in the Nollywood sector of the Nigerian film industry in 2001.
