Her mother is an esteemed entertainment attorney of Afro-Jamaican and Indo-Jamaican descent, while her father, Christopher Skyers, holds the position of corporate broker VP. Like his wife and daughter, he, too, is proud of his Afro-Jamaican roots.

On January 18, 2018, her debut album, Ultraviolet, was released. The album features three singles: “U Don’t Know” (featuring Wizkid), “Back for More” (featuring Jeremih), and “Don’t Think About It”. “Good Love” was included in the album pre-order on December 8, along with the music video release for “Don’t Think About It”. Her third studio album, Space & Time, was released in June 2021. The album was executive produced by Timbaland.
