Chelsea Learns Napoli’s Position On The Osimhen Trade

Victor Osimhen, a star for Napoli, is projected to get significant attention from many of Europe’s premier teams this summer. Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the forward, in addition to Chelsea, although Napoli is reportedly asking for £100 million for their attacker. Osimhen scored in the Champions League as Napoli defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 in the first leg of the last-16 after netting goal number 18 in Serie A over the weekend.

After Napoli’s victory, club president Aurelio De Laurentiis made a daring statement on Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s futures in which he did not completely rule out a departure. The striking duo of Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia of Napoli has been responsible for 19 Serie A goals for Napoli this season. Osimhen has scored 18 goals and sent out three assists, while Kvaratskhelia has racked up ten goals and nine assists.

Napoli is in an excellent position to get to the quarterfinals of the Champions League and is also 15 points in front of their closest rival in Italy. However, Osimhen is viewed as the ideal candidate for The Blues, who desperately need a natural striker to fix their goal-scoring problems, albeit they appear to be up against the heavy competition. The Mirror claims that Todd Boehly will compete for the target man this summer with Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
