130 Of Latto’s Songs Leak Online

Following the breakthrough of “Big Energy,” Latto is currently having a successful career. The 23-year-old artist has been nominated for a number of honors and accolades this year, including Best New Artist and Melodic Rap Performance at the Grammys. Latto’s name started to trend on Monday for several reasons.

Online leaks revealed 130 unreleased songs by the rapper. A number of reference tracks that Latto had previously demoed for other artists were included in the collection. Fans noticed that rapper and songwriter London Jae was featured on a number of the songs.

After people learned that Jae had written “Whole Lotta Money,” the number-one song by BIA, he also became a trending topic on Twitter. But BIA rejected the idea that London wrote the whole song.

“No London jae wrote the hook,” she tweeted. “I wrote the pre and verse it’s not rocket science.”

Latto’s songs were leaked after a contentious Twitter debate with Nicki Minaj. In the course of the online argument, Nicki threatened to release some of the rapper’s reference tracks. Latto, however, was unfazed. She acknowledged that while writers help her with her creative process, she also writes.

A song that was leaked featured Minaj and Latto’s cover of “Blick Blick” by Coi Leray. While Latto’s reference music circulated online, The Barbz didn’t waste any time mentioning their favorite.
