A$AP Rocky Unveils New Westside Gunn Collaboration With Orchestra Support

A$AP Rocky gave a sneak peek at a Westside Gunn collaboration while on tour abroad. The Harlem rapper took the stage at the Accor Arena on Friday, January 26, as part of Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes, a charity event.

Rocky delivered a previously unreleased song featuring Griselda rapper vocals throughout the orchestral concert. According to Genius, the song, which is purportedly called “Whiskey,” features Damon Albarn and is produced by Clams Casino.

Rihanna, Rocky’s girlfriend, was also seen in the crowd observing and enjoying his performance. The program for Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes also included J Balvin, Maroon 5, and Pharrell.

In November, Rocky was sighted in the studio alongside Damon Albarn of Gorillaz and Westside Gunn. Gunn and Rocky previously worked together on the song “Shootouts in Soho,” which is on the latter’s album 10 from 2022. After the two connected in April 2022, the song was written.

“Don’t Be Dumb,” the highly anticipated upcoming new album that Rocky has been hinting at for a while, is his “best work yet,” as he recently said. A$AP Rocky had disclosed that Tyler, The Creator, Lil Yachty, Miguel, and Thundercat will be appearing on the record, though any more information has remained elusive.
