Bad Bunny Files Lawsuit On Fan For Posting Videos From “Most Wanted Tour”

It’s admirable how fans show their unwavering support for their favourite artists, but it also has downsides. Recently, Bad Bunny had an unfortunate encounter with a fan who posted too many videos online. The Puerto Rican superstar has filed a lawsuit against Eric Guillermo Madronal Garrone, who runs a YouTube channel called Made for Live Music, which posts high-quality videos from concerts by various artists. While Bad Bunny understands that fans want to share their excitement, he feels he must take legal action against the fans to protect his livelihood.

The singer claims that Eric attended his Salt Lake City, Utah, show in late February and recorded several videos from his Most Wanted Tour, violating his live performance music rights. Bad Bunny is suing him because he believes that Eric’s actions are diverting attention away from him and causing him to lose revenue. However, the standard takedown notices issued under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act didn’t work, and all the videos, including the ones in question, are back up on the page due to a counterclaim filed by Eric. Bad Bunny is now trying to get an injunction to stop the fan from uploading any more long-form content. Additionally, he is seeking $150,000 for each video or any actual damages he can prove he suffered due to the postings.
