BBNaija All-Stars 2023: Mercy Eke Says Housemates See Her As “A Threat” In Run-Up To Finale

Mercy Eke, a Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, has claimed that her fellow contestants view her as a threat to their prospects of winning the N120m reality show’s grand prize. She claimed they should have put her up for eviction this week but chose not to because “we have Fathered so well, and they are now seeing beyond the game.” Mercy’s statement suggests that her fellow contestants have recognized her strategic gameplay and strong presence in the house. This acknowledgement might have led them to prioritize their connections with her over the game’s competitive aspect.

During Sunday’s live eviction show, she made this statement in response to the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s questions. Ebuka asked:

“Mercy Eke, you seem surprised that you weren’t nominated this week. Why did you think the housemates didn’t like you?”

Mercy Eke responded:

“It’s not about liking. I think they already know that I am a big threat, so it would be wise to put me out there. I take it like we are now family, so we have bonded so well, and they are now seeing beyond the game, but they still think I am a threat.”

After White Money was eliminated in week 7, Mercy is the only former winner to make it to the All-Stars Finals. Even though her housemates could not mark her for potential eviction, she made it to the final round and has positioned herself as a favourite to win the prize. Mercy’s strategic gameplay and strong social connections have contributed to her success in the All-Star game. Despite facing tough competition from other skilled players, she has consistently proven herself a formidable contender, leaving viewers excited to see if she can secure her second victory in the show.
