Billy Joel Billed To Perform At The Grammy Awards 2024

Legendary American singer-songwriter Billy Joel has made a highly anticipated announcement that he will be performing at the prestigious Grammy Awards in 2024 after a gap of 22 years. This year’s ceremony is scheduled for February 4, 2024, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. Joel last performed at the Grammys in 2002, sharing the stage with the late Tony Bennett.

The 2024 Grammy Awards will feature an impressive line-up of top artists such as Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, Travis Scott, Burna Boy, and Luke Combs, making it an event to remember. The ceremony is expected to attract music lovers from all over the world who eagerly await the impressive performances and award announcements. Joel’s performance at the Grammy Awards will be a special event, as he will be marking his return to the ceremony’s stage after over two decades. His performance will take place just three days after releasing his latest solo single, ‘Turn the Lights Back On’, which will be released on February 1, 2024, via Columbia Records. The song will be available on all streaming platforms and limited-edition 7″ vinyl.

In addition to his Grammy performance, Joel is set to perform a massive stadium gig in Cardiff, Europe’s youngest capital city, in the summer of 2024. This will be his only show in Europe for the year, and his support act, Chris Isaak, will accompany him. This follows Joel’s announcement last year that his monthly concert residency at Madison Square Garden, which had been running for over a decade, would end in July 2024. Joel’s final show at the venue will mark his 150th overall performance.
