Cardi B Comments On Ayra Starr’s Interview With TMZ

Cherished Nigerian singer, Ayra Starr, was interviewed on the streets of America by an American entertainment publication, TMZ, and US rapper Cardi B caught wind of it and responded to the interview. Ayra was asked by the interviewer what she thought of Cardi B forgetting the name of the designer of her outfit from the Met Gala.

The 2024 MET Gala, which had the theme “Garden of Time” in keeping with the Costume Institute’s spring exhibition “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” took place on Monday, May 6, in New York City. Cardi B was among the celebrities who showed up in stylish and distinctive attire that deviated from the theme.

She also couldn’t remember the name of the costume designer, despite their months-long collaboration on it. A TMZ reporter saw Ayra on a NYC street a few days after the event and spoke about her feelings. In response, Ayra stated that she wasn’t sure, although it could occur because of anxiety. She also gave the female rapper a warm shout-out while stepping away from the camera’s view.

When Cardi B saw the interview footage online, she blasted TMZ for trying to incite controversy and for asking Ayra such unusual questions that put her in an awkward situation.
