According to Naira Marley, days before Mohbad passed away, he allegedly had a conversation with his former signee. As the Marlian CEO insisted he was not guilty of the accusations levelled against him, Naira Marley was heard on the tape persuading Mohbad out of killing himself. In an interview with former presidential aide Reno Omokri, Naira Marley made this information public, which prompted emotions.
Naira Marley, the head of the Marlian label and a controversial musician, recently spoke with Reno Omokri, and he reaffirmed his innocence amid allegations that he was responsible for Mohbad’s demise. Naira Marley stated in the video that there was no way he could be connected to Mohbad’s passing either directly or indirectly because he had been travelling since August. However, the head of the Marlian label gave information on his attempts to help Mohbad, who he claimed was already experiencing challenges.
The head of the Marlian Music label also made public an audio of a purported phone call Mohbad made just before he passed away. On the phone, Naira Marley was overheard asking the alleged late singer why he made a video encouraging people to blame him (Naira Marley) and his crew if he passes away. Since then, many internet users have used social media to criticize Naira Marley and Reno Omokri for the interview, as justice is requested for the singer’s death, and findings surrounding it continue to unravel.
