Chidinma Ekile Reveals She Was Born Without Her Eyesight

Nigerian Gospel singer, Chidinma Ekile, has openly discussed how she overcome her blindness at birth through intense prayer. The singer disclosed that a significant challenge which faced her parents at her birth was her inability to open her eyes.

Chidinma says her parents did everything they could to get her to open her eyes, but to no avail. So, her mother resorted to prayers and fasting, even though she didn’t expect a miracle. However, after a period of intense fasting and prayer, Ekile stated her vision was miraculously restored.

When Chidinma’s eyes eventually opened, she confessed that what she first saw was pure red.

Before now, the singer had revealed in another interview that she was not under any form of pressure to get married. When she was asked about her relationship with the popular singers, Kizz Daniel and Flavour, she pleaded the fifth.

The singer claimed that because of her upbringing, she doesn’t often talk about her personal life and instead keeps to herself when working. Chidinma stated that being true to herself has been her greatest asset in navigating the spotlight and temptations of the music business.

The singer has also been working on new music while she dabbles into the acting scene.
