Davido Reveals He Cannot Live Without The Bible
Afrobeats musician, Davido, has declared his faith to be very important to him and how deep it goes. The “Feel” singer stated that the Bible is essential in giving him direction, courage, and inspiration. He highlighted that hymns and prayers are also included in the Bible software he has on his tablet device.
In a recent interview with British GQ, Davido also mentioned a few more items he couldn’t live without: popcorn, a wallet, headphones, jewelry, sneakers, sunglasses, and a bag for toiletries. He gave an explanation for his importance of popcorn, saying that it enhances his enjoyment of movies.
He recalled that the first movie that had ever made him cry was “Crazy Rich Asians,” and he explained that this was because the film was about love and that “he was a lover boy.” OBO also revealed the fascinating backstory of his eye-catching frog pendant in the same conversation.
For the singer, the multi-million naira pendant from Ice Box has sentimental significance since it represents his reaction to disparaging remarks made about his voice on social media. Davido disclosed that he used to be called a frog on social media, especially on X (formerly Twitter), because of his unusually rough voice.
