Ciara Says Her New Album Is Ready

American R&B singer and songwriter Ciara have announced that she has completed the recording for her 8th studio album and that the album is all set for release. Excited about the project, the 36-year old singer announced the completion of her latest album while speaking with Associated Press in a recent interview.

The album will mark Ciara’s return to the music scene after a three-year absence in which she has focused on developing her business empire and her family. The singer had recently announced on Twitter that she had achieved one of her dreams as she was featured on the coveted cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Edition.

While on the red carpet of the magazine’s launch event, Ciara shared that she’s most confident and at ease with her husband Russell Wilson and her children, adding that they make the difference for her.

Ciara has been busy since her last album, “Beauty Marks”, was released in May 2019 through her independent label, Beauty Marks Entertainment. The album featured appearances from Kelly Rowland and Macklemore.

Seeing as she appears to enjoy her time off the music, this forthcoming album might be the only one we will be having for a long time.

While Ciara has not announced the tracks on the album or a potential release date, she has already shot a video for the first single off the album, reportedly titled “Jump.” She was recently seen on the set of the video with Dave Meyers, who directed the video for her Grammy-winning collaboration with Missy Elliott, “Lose Control”.
