CKay Explains Why He Removed BNXN & Seyi Vibez From His Song “Hallelujah”

Chukwuka Ekweani, also known as Ckay, Nigeria’s amazing singer, songwriter, and producer, has explained why he removed BNXN fka Buju and Seyi Vibez from his single “Hallelujah.”

The Magicsticks-produced tune with rapper Blaqbonez is without a doubt one of the most intriguing duets to be released in 2023, and it recently hit the number one single on Apple Music Nigeria, although the song appears to have omitted features. Turning to social media, the singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist stated that he had to remove BNXN’s part since he (BNXN) begged to be removed from the song after hearing Blaqbonez’s verse.

CKay went on to say that street-hop sensation Seyi Vibez was also removed from the album after his team failed to clear the song. According to CKay, Seyi Vibez’s part on the song was possibly too intimate, which is why it wasn’t apparent. The ‘Love Nwantiti’ singer went on to say that the version of the song with Vibez’ verse might never be released.

Putting the song drama aside, CKay’s career as an artist has been distinguished by a number of noteworthy accomplishments, including his chart-topping successes and collaborations with luminaries in the field. His ability to connect with people through his music and unrelenting commitment to his art have cemented his status as a rising star in the field.
