Nigerian musician Chukwuka Chukwuma Ekweani, better known worldwide as CKay, teased fans on social media by saying that new music would be released in seven days. The titles of the two tracks are “Mysterious Lover” and “Is it You?”

These would be his first official release of 2024. CKay’s breakthrough hit, “Love Nwantiti,” catapulted him into global prominence. With a remarkable 20x Platinum achievement in India and 4x Platinum status in the US, “Love Nwantiti” has only grown even bigger, attracting more and more listeners the world over.

In addition to the success of “Love Nwantiti,” CKay was nominated for a Grammy Award in recognition of his outstanding work on Janelle Monáe’s pioneering album, “The Age of Pleasure,” in the highly contested “Album of the Year” category.
