Davido Inaugurates The Faculty Of Music And Arts At A Ugandan Tertiary Institution
The Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer Davido recently opened the Faculty of Music and Arts at a university in Uganda, marking another milestone in his career.
By establishing a new faculty of music and arts at the International University of East Africa in Uganda, the Afrobeats maestro has significantly impacted the institution. March 28, 2024 was the date of the unveiling ceremony, which was captured on camera and posted to the singer’s official Instagram account.
Another honor bestowed upon Davido was the naming of a university hall in his honor. It is anticipated that the new faculty of music and arts would offer students a top-notch education in the creative and musical domains. The establishment of this faculty is a major step in the direction of encouraging the expansion of Uganda’s and Africa’s entertainment industries.
The musician showed his appreciation for the announcement in a message on his social media platform X, which was once known as Twitter, in response to the university achievement.
