Christian Liberty University Authorities Say Claims Of Lil Nas X Attending Institution Is “Fake News”
Christian Liberty University asserts that they have never heard of Lil Nas X and calls his claim to have been accepted to a Christian college a biblical-scale hoax. LNX has been resorting to various tactics to promote his latest track, “J Christ,” which is a far cry from his previous controversial song, “Montero (Call Me By Your Name).” In his latest publicity stunt, Hill used a fake letter that saw him accepted into the Christian University and praised him for becoming a “champion for Christ.” However, it was later found out that the letter was doctored and the signature belonged to Jerry Falwell Sr., the founder of the university who passed away in 2007. Despite this deceitful move, Hill’s new track, “J. Christ,” is set to release on Friday. To dispel the myth that he is a “devil-worshipping dandy,” as presented in Dave Chappelle’s most recent Netflix special, LNX put up the fake banner in conjunction with releasing his new single.
Hill’s promotional materials have drawn criticism, such as a picture of him being raised on a cross and a video in which he mockingly partakes of the Lord’s Supper at a church while costumed as Jesus. The contentious promotional materials have triggered controversial discussions and charges of blasphemy.

“We can confirm that Liberty University did not issue the Montero Hill ‘acceptance letter’ posted yesterday to social media, and we have no record of Montero Hill applying to the University. Liberty University exists to glorify God by equipping men and women in higher education in fidelity to the Christian faith expressed through the Holy Scriptures.”
“We continue to pray for America and for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be proclaimed across this land. We welcome all to apply and join us at Liberty University.”
On Wednesday, Lil Nas X gave fans a sneak peek at the upcoming music video for his new track. The teaser showcases a group of individuals, who are celebrity lookalikes, making their way towards the gates of heaven. The video seems to be set in a serene, cloud-filled landscape with the bright light of heaven shining in the background. The teaser has sparked much curiosity and excitement among Lil Nas X’s fans, eagerly anticipating the release of the full music video.
