For Davido, 2023 and his latest album, “Timeless,” are simply precious gifts that just don’t stop giving.
In new reports, Wetalksound has stated that his 2023’s defining album, “Timeless,” is now the singer’s most-streamed studio project to date. The record even outperformed “A Good Time,” his last two albums. According to the new stats, there are currently over 330 million plays on the album. And that is just on Spotify.

Adding to his winning streak, OBO also got nominated for three 2024 Grammy Award, including one for Best Global Album for his most recent release, “Timeless.” The remaining two nominations are for Best Global Music Performance for his song “Feel” and Best African Performance for his song “Unavailable.”
Both songs ended up becoming global monster hits, further promoting the album’s appeal. “Timeless” was also included in the “Top 50 Best Albums of 2023: Staff List” on Billboard. The singer’s comeback project peaked at number thirty-nine on the prestigious list following a protracted hiatus.
Furthermore, the singer revealed in a recent interview with GQ Magazine that receiving the esteemed accolade has turned into a daily prayer issue. The “Unavailable” singer discussed perseverance in the face of adversity during the Q&A segment, drawing encouragement from the biblical tale of David and Goliath.
