Dead & Company has announced six additional dates for their residency at the Las Vegas Sphere later this year after previously announcing shows for spring 2024. The band teased this new run of shows with an impressive video that projected the Grateful Dead’s iconic ‘Steal Your Face’ logo onto the outer sphere of the arena, leaving fans excited and eagerly waiting for the upcoming performances. The Sphere Arena, expected to open in 2023, boasts cutting-edge technology and a futuristic design, making it one of the most talked-about venues in the music industry. The venue, which Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. is building, promises to offer an immersive experience to the audience with its state-of-the-art acoustics, lighting, and special effects.

The general sale will begin on February 9. The news comes after reports that the American rock band will follow in the footsteps of U2 and Phish by performing residencies at the $2 billion venue. Earlier, the band hinted that their “final tour” in 2023 could be their last time performing live together. Mayer has also released a statement regarding this matter.
