Don Toliver Reportedly Arrested For DUI; Released After Citing
Early on Tuesday morning, Don Toliver was arrested near the San Fernando Valley for driving under the influence, as per a report from the California Highway Patrol that TMZ cited. The officers who pulled him over stated that there were clear signs of impairment, and they gave him a citation on the spot instead of taking him to the station. According to sources for the outlet, the police handed Toliver over to another party who was present and sober, and he was fully cooperative throughout the incident. Unfortunately, further details regarding the arrest are currently unavailable. The arrest comes less than a month after Toliver and his partner, Kali Uchis, announced the birth of their first child together on Instagram. Despite the new addition to their family, fans can still expect new music from the couple. Toliver has confirmed that he will be releasing an album this summer, which he announced in a recent Instagram post with the caption, “Album This Summer. It’s mine. HardStone Psycho.”
Uchis, who is also a musician, shared in an interview with ABC News in January that she plans to continue working on new music despite the challenges that come with being a working woman in general and facing pregnancy discrimination.
