Drake Finally Publishes His Kendrick Lamar Diss “Push Ups” On Streaming Platforms

Canadian rapper, Drake made waves on the internet last weekend when he leaked his diss on Kendrick Lamar. Almost a week later, he finally dropped the official studio version of “Push Ups” onto streaming services.

The rapper, who threw in his hat after Kendrick Lamar’s verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That” caused a stir, also unveiled the official cover art for the song. It depicts a shoe-size scale pointing to a line that alludes to Lamar. With a sample from Junior M.A.F.I.A.’s “Get Money,” an apparent unfinished version of Drake’s song “Push Ups” surfaced on Saturday, April 13, setting social media on fire.

A new beat and better quality version of the song soon surfaced online; many questioned the song’s veracity, and some even said it was an artificial intelligence (AI) creation. But shortly after, he appeared to verify its veracity by sharing a still from the movie “Kill Bill” on his Instagram account. The shot featured Uma Thurman’s character, the Bride, wielding a sword against a group of men who were preparing to assault her.

A few hours after Drake’s song appeared online, Rick Ross, who had been dissed on the song, responded quickly to the argument “Push Ups” by dropping “Champagne Moments.” In the meantime, listen to the Drake diss track below:
