Drake’s 42 Unsuccessful Marriage Proposals Are Honored With A New Chain

Drake has expanded his collection of iced-out jewels, and he’s doing it at the expense of the women he’s previously considered proposing to. A unique custom-made diamond necklace developed in collaboration with the 6 God was shown in a video posted on the Instagram page of jewelry business Alex Moss New York on Monday (December 12).

The magnificent sculpture, titled “Previous Engagements,” comprises 42 diamond engagement rings in remembrance of all the times Drake contemplated proposing to a lucky woman but decided against it, the narrator in the film revealed. The necklace contains an absurd 351.38 carats of diamonds that are all fastened on 18-carat white gold and set with the eagle claw technique.

The gleaming piece of jewelry was produced over the course of 14 months by Alex Moss jewelers. In the music video for “Falling Back,” which is off his dance album Honestly, Nevermind, Drake previously made fun of his marital problems. However, in the over ten-minute video, Drizzy eventually found love and married not one but 23 different ladies. With prior creations, including Tyler, The Creator’s $500,000 multicolored bellhop chain, Jack Harlow’s enormous Louisville necklace, and Private Garden rings, Alex Moss is no stranger to icing out some of Hip Hop’s greatest personalities.

Drake frequently patronizes the renowned jeweler. The OVO hitmaker flaunted a new Richard Millie watch and stunning ring from Alex Moss after shattering The Beatles’ long-standing Billboard Hot 100 chart record in August.
