Stephen Curry Gets A Deathrow Chain Blessing From Snoop Dogg
Following their joint renovation of a basketball court in Long Beach, Snoop Dogg gave Stephen Curry a gift as a sign of his appreciation.
Stephen Curry has experienced a wild journey this year. The starting point guard for the Golden State Warriors is now a four-time NBA champion, the inaugural MVP of the NBA Finals, and the most recent winner of the Best NBA Player award at the ESPYS. After receiving all of those honors, #30 has since added a significant new accomplishment to his résumé.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Long Beach’s recently renovated basketball court in Martin Luther King, Jr. Park was unveiled earlier this week with the help of Snoop Dogg and comic book artist Damion Scott, according to AllHipHop. Snoop Dogg is seen presenting Stephen Curry with a glittering Death Row chain in a video that DJ Akademiks released.
The audience can be heard shouting “It’s chaining day!” when Snoop fastens the chain around Curry’s neck. Curry is then told by Snoop that his chain is unique, adding, “They ain’t got that, Steph! That’s official.” Also, in attendance was famed radio host, Kurt Alexander, popularly known as Big Boy, who played the role of MC at the epoch-making event. Have a look below.
