Timaya Slams Staff For Jumping Into Wizkid And Davido’s Social Media Feud
Nigerian Dancehall musician, Timaya, recently became embroiled in an internet dispute after a member of his crew, Bolaji Fadipe, used his social media handle to speak on a hot matter unconnected to him.
Timaya moved to Instagram to openly criticize Bolaji, calling him a fool and accused him of overstepping bounds. Despite Timaya’s repeated cautions, Bolaji allegedly proceeded to involve the musician in things beyond his authority. Recently, there has been an increase in hostilities between popular musicians.
Kizz Daniel and Tekno have been fighting online, and Davido and Wizkid have been having intense arguments. Fans noticed a tweet that Timaya wrote from his account, discussing the current music business battles. Timaya quickly emphasized, though, that a team member sent the tweet and that he was not the author.
Ultimately, he counseled Fadipe to pursue acknowledgment based on his own abilities instead of trying to take advantage of Timaya’s position for private advantage.
Timaya’s outburst underlines the difficulties that celebrities confront in retaining control of their public image and social media presence, particularly when delegated to others. Regarding music, the singer recently worked on a new track with Tiwa Savage, for which they also shot a colorful music video.
