Dua Lipa Shares On Making Songs On Amicable Breakups And Why She ‘Feels Good’ About Them

Dua Lipa, the 28-year-old singer, boldly stated that breakups can be good for her. She confidently shared that her past splits have been amicable, and writing songs inspired by them makes her feel empowered. One of her favourite singles on her upcoming album is the result of a healthy breakup that she went through. Although the song’s title and release date are still unknown, it is rumoured to be about feeling mature and in control as an ex moves on. Dua Lipa, who has previously been in romantic relationships with Anwar Hadid and director Romain Gavras, spoke frankly.

“Dating, I think overall, is just a little confusing,”

“It’s either through friends of friends or people you trust where you can meet new people, because [dating] is not really so straightforward when you are, I guess, a public person,”

“I think I’ve had breakups in my life where I felt like the only kind of breakup you could have was when things just ended really badly. Things ending in a nice way was such a new thing. It taught me a lot.”

Dua has reportedly found love with actor Callum Turner, and the two were seen sparking romance rumours after a slow dance at an after-party for the premiere of his series, “Masters of the Air,” earlier this month at Avra in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. The “Dance the Night” singer confidently wrapped one of her arms around the “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” star’s shoulders during the dance. They were then seen leaving a room and heading to a bigger one while walking confidently close to each other, with her arm still on his shoulders as he placed his hand around her waist. Furthermore, the duo were recently spotted in WeHo, where they confidently shared a kiss and packed on the PDA in full view of the paparazzi.
