Fans Think A Diss Track Is Coming As Drake Posts Larry O’Brien Trophy With Notebook

Drake recently took to his Instagram Story to share a picture that has sparked rumours of a possible diss track in the works aimed at Kendrick Lamar. The image features the Larry O’Brien trophy, awarded to the NBA champions, placed next to a notebook. Fans were quick to speculate that the notebook might contain lyrics for a possible track directed at Lamar. This speculation comes over two weeks after Kendrick Lamar called out Drake on Metro Boomin and Future’s “We Don’t Trust You.”. The verse in question had Lamar addressing the verses on “First Person Shooter.” His verse was seen as a direct reference to Drake and J. Cole.

The feud between the two rappers began after J. Cole referred to Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and himself as hip-hop’s “Big 3” on the track “First Person Shooter.” In response, Lamar released a verse on Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That.”. While Drake has yet to respond with a diss track of his own, J. Cole did so on the closing song to his new mixtape, “Might Delete Later,” titled “7 Minute Drill.” While Drake hasn’t released any music to diss Kendrick Lamar, and even though Cole has issued some form of apology to Lamar following his lines, he has posted several cryptic Instagram captions, which could be seen as a response to Lamar’s diss. The nature of this feud has undoubtedly captured the attention of fans worldwide, and many are eagerly waiting to see how it will unfold.
