Ginuwine And Tyrese Say “It Is Time” As TGT Reunion Looms

Ginuwine and Tyrese, the R&B legends, have created a buzz among their fans by teasing that the long-awaited TGT reunion might be just around the corner. The trio TGT, which stands for Tyrese, Ginuwine, and Tank, formed in 2007 and dropped their debut album, “Three Kings,” in 2013. The album was a massive success and peaked at number three on the US Billboard 200 chart.

Recently, Tyrese hinted at the group’s reunion in an Instagram post on January 17, revealing that he had been in contact with his former bandmates. Ginuwine also gave hope to fans, posting a throwback photo of the group on his Instagram account, captioned, “We need a TGT reunion.” Since then, fans have eagerly awaited an official reunion tour announcement or a new album. The TGT reunion would be a significant event for fans of classic R&B, and it seems like it’s only a matter of time until the trio reunites and creates more timeless music.

In his post, Tyrese wrote in the caption,

“On a conference call with TGT!!!!!!!!”  “8 offers into these R&B frequencies…’ Just hearing the fellas voices on these calls has been good to the soul!!!!!!! Damn I missed yall…. TANK GINUWINE TYRESE!!! @therealtank @ginuwine @tyrese mind blown!!!!”

Ginuwine dropped a comment of his own, saying,

“I’m there king [raised hands emoji] [fire emoji] let’s go,”

Later that day, he wrote a similar caption on Instagram.

“Just had a great convo with my brothas all I’m gonna say is uhhhhh ohhhhhh stay tuned #tgt #tyrese #tank love these guys it’s on!!!!! @tyrese @therealtank TGT !!!! It’s time,”

In October, the R&B supergroup TGT made headlines when Ginuwine shared a clip on social media of the trio reuniting. The clip showed Tank giving an informal speech to a small group of people, confirming the long-awaited return of the supergroup. TGT, which consists of Tyrese, Ginuwine, and Tank, released their first song in 2007. However, it took them until 2013 to release their debut album, Three Kings. Despite the project’s success, the group disbanded in 2015 after disagreements between the singers and their record label.
