Halle Bailey To Receive Special Recognition At The Essence Black Women In Hollywood Awards

After a long career filled with honors, Halle Bailey has recently been named an honoree at the forthcoming Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards.

The Chloe x Halle chanteuse will be honored at the event, which will be hosted by Wu-Tang Clan’s very own Method Man, along with actress Danielle Brooks, screenwriter Nkechi Okoro Carroll, and STARZ President of Original Programming Kathryn Busby, according to a press release.

The awards presentation is scheduled on March 7, 2024, in Los Angeles, California. In the meantime, Halle Bailey has recently gained attention for her amazing “snapback” figure following the birth of her son Halo with rapper DDG.

The singer-turned-actress made waves on the red carpet at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 4, showcasing her stunning post-pregnancy figure in a gold gown. One commenter remarked, “Having a baby gave her a glow just like it did KEKE,” beneath a photo of Bailey that was posted to Instagram by The Shade Room.

Even while the 23-year-old received praise on the red carpet, he lost to SZA in the Best R&B Song category and left empty-handed. Because of his good looks, Mef has also been in the news. Recently, fans argued about who the hotter hip-hop star was—LL COOL J or Mef. Last month, the Neighborhood Talk Instagram page sparked the conversation.
