In A Wave Of Fake Promotional Offers, Lil Nas X Teams Up With Grindr, A Homophobic Dog, And Others

Lil Nas X has a new marketing ploy.

Lil Nas X has shown that he can do a lot of things, but his most unique skill is grabbing attention. When it comes to persuading people to talk, his imagination knows no limitations. He recently promoted Pride Month by debuting blonde hair and claiming that “busy” should be added to the language, as well as releasing a bogus song to promote a real song.

Lil Nas X is back in the spotlight with YoungBoy Never Broke Again to promote his new song “Late To The Party.” His key strategy has been to maintain a continual stream of phony brand alliances. The first promotion involved Grindr, a gay dating app.

“FREE C**K WHEN YOU PRESAVE MY NEW SONG TODAY,” he captioned the tweet. He followed that up with a collaboration on the polar opposite side of the scale: the “homophobic dog” meme. “Do it now for a chance to see him live! Calling you the famous word as seen on auntie diaries by Kendrick Lamar! Hurry!”

MacDonald’s was his final false collaboration announcement. “So happy to announce I am teaming up with macdonalds to give out FREE BBLS to the first 1,000,000 ppl to presave my new single!” wrote the rapper.
