With A Whole Fake BET Promo Video, Lil Nas X Hypes The NBA YoungBoy Collaboration “Late To Da Party”
In recent weeks, Lil Nas X has been exerting pressure on BET, and he has not stopped mocking the network. Lil Nas X was not pleased to learn that he had been overlooked when the BET Award nominations were revealed. Since becoming famous thanks to the viral hit “Old Town Road,” the rapper has dominated the charts.
Most lately, Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow’s “Industry Baby” brought both artists enormous success on a global scale. Lil Nas X had already performed at the award show, as BET would later point out in a public statement. They also stated that they supported the hit-maker, but Nas X claimed that this was insufficient evidence because it showed how the network encouraged homophobia in Hip Hop culture.
Soon after, Nas X made a surprise appearance and previewed a new song with the phrase “f*ck BET.” Later, it was confirmed that NBA YoungBoy will be on the track. This Friday, June 27, is the single’s release date, and Lil Nas X has been teasing it with fake brand advertisements. He then returns to announce “Late To Da Party” with a full fake BET montage.
