Sam Larry Releases Cringe Statement Regarding Mohbad’s Passing
Sam Larry, a controversial Lagos socialite, alleged that he paid Mohbad N2 million to play at his mother’s annual memorial service but that the late musician failed to show up. He claimed that the incident occurred two years ago and that Mohbad never showed up or contacted to explain why after receiving the aforementioned payment to perform at the Ikorodu event until he got in touch with him.

In his formal statement while in police prison, the troubled Marlian associate, who is accused of being responsible for the unfortunate death of Mohbad, made these accusations. Prior to this, Sam Larry was alleged to have been invited by the police three days ago and cautioned to bring himself in or be declared wanted at the end of a three-day deadline.
According to Benjamin Hundeyin, the PPRO of the Lagos State Police Command, Larry is currently in custody and assisting in the ongoing investigation into what led to the demise of Mohbad, a former member of Marlian Music founded by Naira Marley, another person of interest who has been expected to make his way to Nigeria for questioning.
It was previously reported that Larry was under pressure from his family to return to Nigeria following widespread outrage over his alleged participation in Mohbad’s death.
