Jay-Z Calls Off The Annual Roc Nation Brunch

According to reports, JAY-Z’s highly sought-after Roc Nation Brunch, which has turned into an annual Grammy weekend ritual, is not happening this year, sparking rumors about what the label might be up to. The Roc Nation Brunch began in 2011, took a two-year break in 2021 and 2022 due to the COVID-19 epidemic, and resumed in 2023.

A source close to the Hip Hop millionaire confirmed the cancellation to Page Six on Friday, February 2. Since the cancellation has not been further explained, there has been speculations that Beyoncé, Hova’s wife, will be performing on Sunday, February 4 at the Grammy Awards.

A source close to the couple confirmed that they will instead be attending Clive Davis’s Grammy party on Saturday, February 3, however that has not been confirmed or refuted. On Friday, there were rumors going around the business about a party hosted by Roc Nation.

But the Roc Nation Brunch of the previous year was truly unforgettable. At a secluded home in the hills above Los Angeles, the power couple was accompanied by a large group of friends, family, associates, and protégés after Roc Nation asked business elites to “join us for a celebration of the highest elevation of self.”

In contrast to previous years, Beyoncé and JAY-Z did not appear in photos together and appeared to arrive at the event separately.
