Jay Z’s Mom Finally Ties Knot With Longtime Lesbian Lover, Roxanne Wiltshire

It is wonderful news that Gloria Carter, the matriarch of the Carter family, has tied the knot with her partner of many years, Roxanne Wiltshire. The wedding ceremony was held in the Tribeca neighbourhood of New York City over the weekend, and it was attended by their loved ones, including JAY-Z, Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Tina Knowles-Lawson, Tyler Perry, and Robin Roberts. On Instagram, Beyoncé shared her stunning peach-coloured outfit for the festivities. She wore a corseted Dolce & Gabbana bodysuit with a matching skirt and completed the look with a feathered jacket, a lace handbag, and stylish shades. Her daughter, Blue Ivy, also looked incredible in a floor-length sage green Reformation gown paired with a chain necklace and strappy heels.

In 2017, JAY-Z first shared his mother’s coming out as a lesbian on his track “Smile,” earning him a Grammy for the “4:44” project.
