Justin Timberlake Announces Dates For “Forget Tomorrow” Tour

There are too many reasons to be happy for Justin Timberlake recently, as he has enjoyed some career resurgence and even announced that he will soon hit the road. On January 16, the popular boy band NSYNC member announced that he would embark on a “Forget Tomorrow” world tour and shared its North American leg dates. He has now announced dates, as the tour will kick off at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena on April 29, including stops in cities such as Seattle, San Jose, Las Vegas, and San Diego in May. The singer will perform in Fort Worth on June 4 and then make stops in Tulsa, Atlanta, Tampa, Miami, Chicago, New York, Boston, Baltimore, and others before wrapping it up in Lexington on July 7.

This thrilling announcement came just one day after the talented singer dropped his new single, “Selfish,” along with a music video directed by Bradley J. Calder. The video shows the singer’s trial-and-error approach to making the clip, and it’s clear that he put a lot of effort into making it perfect. “Selfish” is Justin’s first solo release in six years and is expected to appear on his upcoming album, “Everything I Thought It Was.”. For the album, the “Cry Me a River” hitmaker admitted that he wrote 100 songs, showing his dedication to his craft.

In his sit-down with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, he said,

“I worked for a long time on this album and I ended up with 100 songs. So narrowing them down to 18 was a thing, and then, yeah, I’m really excited about this album,”  “I think every artist probably says this, but it is my best work.”

Fans are in for a swell time with JT on the road. Speaking on the album’s title, the singer said the record’s title came from feedback from his friends.

“I was playing it for people around me. They’re like, ‘Oh, this sounds like everything we know you for.’ ”

“And then another friend of mine was like, ‘Oh, this sounds like everything I thought I wanted from you,’ ”  “It was like that sort of phrase, in one way or another, was in the air. And I thought to myself about how some of the songs are more introspective and some of them are more what I think people know me for.”
